Consigning with Bushel & Peck is simple, transparent, and designed for busy families. You bring us the items your family has outgrown, and we handle the reviewing, pricing, photographing, listing, selling, and customer service.
How It Works
Step 1 — Become a Consignor & Schedule Your Drop-Off
New consignors begin by completing our Consignor Application and agreeing to our Consignment Agreement. Once registered, schedule your drop-off appointment online.
Step 2 — Prepare Your Items
Before your appointment, please ensure all items are:
- Freshly washed and wrinkle-free
- Free of stains, holes, excessive wear, pet hair, and smoke odors
- Complete with all pieces and accessories
- Clean, safe, and working properly; include batteries when needed
Please bring clothing neatly folded or laid flat in a laundry basket or storage bin. We ask that clothing not be placed on hangers or in trash bags.
Step 3 – Item Review
During your appointment, we will inspect each item to ensure it meets our quality and safety standards.
Items are selected based on condition, safety, seasonality, style, brand, current inventory, and customer demand.
Because our inventory needs change throughout the year, acceptance of a brand or item at one appointment does not guarantee future acceptance.
Step 4 — We Price, Photograph & List
We research each accepted item and determine pricing based on original retail value, brand, condition, seasonality, current resale trends, and demand.
Then we professionally photograph, measure when appropriate, describe, and list your items in the Bushel & Peck online boutique. Selected items may also be featured on social media.
Our goal is to price items competitively while maximizing your return.
Step 5 — We Sell It
When your item sells, the sale is recorded to your consignor account and your earnings begin accumulating toward your next payout.
Step 6 – Payout
Payouts at a Glance
- 50% consignor commission
- $25 minimum payout
- Request payout by the 3rd
- Payments issued on the 5th
- Choose PayPal or Store Credit
- Store Credit receives a 5% bonus
- Balances under $25 automatically roll over
Step 7 — End of Your 60-Day Consignment Period
Items are consigned for 60 days. Any remaining earnings stay available in your consignor account and follow our normal payout schedule.
Unsold items that you wish to reclaim must be picked up within 7 calendar days following the end of the consignment period. Items not collected within that timeframe become the property of Bushel & Peck and may be donated or otherwise responsibly disposed of in accordance with the Consignment Agreement.
