Are all items inspected?
Yes! Every item is carefully inspected for cleanliness, quality, and condition before it's accepted for sale.
Do you ship?
Yes! We ship throughout the United States with fast, affordable shipping.
Can I return an item?
Because many of our items are one-of-a-kind consignment pieces, all sales are final unless an item was significantly misrepresented.
Consignment FAQs
How does consignment work?
Bring us your gently loved children's clothing, baby gear, toys, and maternity items. We'll:
- Inspect your items
- Price them fairly
- Photograph and list them
- Handle customer questions
- Process the sale
You simply earn money when your items sell!
What brands do you accept?
We specialize in:
- Boutique brands
- Higher-end children's brands
- Quality everyday brands
- Vintage children's clothing
- Baby items
- Maternity clothing
We do not accept heavily worn items or clothing from large discount retailers.
How long is the consignment period?
Items remain on consignment for 60 days.
What happens to unsold items?
You'll have 7 days after your consignment period ends to pick up unsold items. Items not picked up within that timeframe may be donated to a local charity unless other arrangements have been made.
Payout FAQs
How much do I earn?
Choose the payout option that works best for you:
- PayPal: Receive 50% of the selling price
- Store Credit (Best Value!): Receive 55% of the selling price
That's an extra 5% bonus when you choose store credit.
Do my items ever go on sale?
Yes. To keep inventory fresh and increase the likelihood that your items sell, Bushel & Peck automatically discounts items during the consignment period:
- Days 1–30: Full Price
- Days 31–45: 15% Off
- Days 46–60: 30% Off
Your payout is based on the final selling price.
When do I get paid?
Payout requests must be submitted by the 3rd of each month. Payouts are processed on the 5th of each month.
Is there a minimum payout?
Yes. The minimum payout is $25. Balances under $25 automatically roll over until the minimum is reached.
What happens if I don't request my payout?
Your balance remains safely on your account until you're ready to request it.
Can I change from PayPal to Store Credit?
Absolutely! You can update your payout preference anytime.
Can someone else pick up my unsold items?
Yes, with prior written authorization from the consignor.
